There are some very unsubstantiated rumors flying around about CC Sabathia being on the block. Even more unsubstantiated are rumors about Milwaukee having the right pieces to be able to offer for CC. Namely, a pair of AA prospects Matt LaPorta and Mat Gamel. Both Gamel and LaPorta are putting up Nintendo numbers in their league. I wouldn't advocate trading either one of them, however if given a chance at Sabathia, Milwaukee would need to think long and hard. This idea that CC has struggled this year is laughable. Do these numbers look like a struggling starting pitcher?

Trading one, or both of the AA sluggers would hurt, but Sabathia might launch the Brew Crew into serious contention.
